I cannot wait until our home group starts our summer bible study( Beth Moore -- Daniel)! I am embarrassed to say that my time in the Word has been quite slim these past few days...
And, oh does my character reflect it! My patience with the kiddos has been short...etc.
Tomorrow is a new day!

- I grew up believing that I could earn my acceptance from God. I wasn’t comfortable talking about God to other people and thought the people who did were definitely weird. It wasn’t until I was “missionary dated” in physical therapy school that I understood the cross. The man I was dating asked me where I thought I would go when I died. I, of course, told him that I thought I would be good enough for heaven. When he started challenging my deeply rooted beliefs, boy was I mad! Then he pointed to scripture, especially Romans. Slowly my wall of self-righteousness was being chipped away. I know I am Christ’s child now. I know my salvation comes through faith in Jesus alone. Without Him in my life, I would not have the desire to get to know Him more and more. I see Him at work in my life. I love watching God place people in my path. Now I am the “weird” one talking about Jesus... “Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18
